Annemiek Hamelinck leads the Waggener Edstrom Worldwide (WE) Global Analyst Relations Practice. She has worked in technology communications since 1994, spanning three continents and working on both consumer and enterprise accounts, from early-stage companies to some of the largest technology vendors in the industry.

Since joining WE, Annemiek has been responsible for outlining and managing enterprise communications strategies, leveraging her expertise in analyst relations, and counseling various teams on analyst relations strategies, programming and training.

Before joining the agency, Annemiek managed various pieces of the Sun Microsystems account for Bite Communications — products and solutions, public relations and analyst relations, and corporate analyst relations — overseeing a team of about 40 people. Her first job in the United States was at public relations firm Antenna Group, where she managed the agency’s wireless communications and enterprise software accounts, including ACCESS Systems, Nokia and Casio. Before joining Antenna, Annemiek worked at Barr & Chan Communications, a high-tech public relations agency in Singapore, where she developed and implemented communications programs targeted at the Asia Pacific markets for Cisco Systems and GRIC Communications and supported the agency’s major clients including Psion, Epson and SAP. Annemiek started her career as a communications consultant for the city of Arnhem in the Netherlands.

She holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Twente in Enschede, the Netherlands.
