Paula Green

Paula Green leads Waggener Edstrom Worldwide’s People Services teams in Europe and East Asia, covering eight offices and approximately 185 employees. She is a board-level HR executive whose areas of accountability include staff planning, recruitment, budget management and all aspects of HR.
Reflecting ten years’ experience managing HR departments, Paula’s areas of expertise span change management, acquisition, rewards and benefits, recruiting, employee relations, training, organisational development, and providing senior counsel to business leaders at the highest level.
Paula joined Waggener Edstrom Worldwide in 2003 as a senior HR business partner at the agency’s European headquarters in London; over the next three years she helped establish new offices in Paris and Munich, and saw the employee headcount grow threefold. In 2007 her role expanded to include the Asia-Pacific region, covering offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing and Shanghai.
For nearly three years, Paula was European HR manager for Vision Systems Ltd, a fire and security technology company based in Australia. There, she was responsible for two business divisions with approximately 165 employees, including scientific, regulatory, technical, sales and engineering staff. Paula was a member of both divisions’ senior management teams, liaising regularly with managing directors and chief executives.
Previously, Paula was HR director for Mosaic Group, an integrated marketing firm. She also worked for Hewlett-Packard Ltd in the mid-1990s.
Paula has numerous professional credentials and accreditations: Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development NVQ Level 4 Operational Management (part qualified); Occupational Psychometric Testing (OPQ) SHL accredited administrator and interpreter; Situation Leadership (Blanchard) accredited; Hogan personality profile accredited; Insights Learning and Development accredited; Booth 360 system accredited; CIPD Essential Employment Law training; and member of the HR Directors’ Forum at Osborne Clarke (employment lawyers). She studied business and finance for two years at Bracknell College.
